Infertility: An Ayurvedic Approach – A Complete Natural Solution

Ayurvedic Pathophysiology:
- Prakruthi– Pitta vata
- Vikruthi– Apana vata, Pachaka pitta, ranjaka pitta
- Dhatu involved– Rasa, Rakta, Mamsa, shukra
- Srotas– rasavaha, raktavaha, artavavaha, shukravaha.
- Organs– Uterus, stomach, ovary
- Samprapti– Due to improper diet and lifestyle (nidana) the pachaka pitta and apana vata got vitiated resulting in acidity and constipation problems. This vitiated pachaka pitta and apana vata caused agni (Dooshita Agni) disturbance which resulted in AMA – Undigested toxins in stomach.
Accumulated AMA eventually caused the rasa dhatu imbalance which resulted in subsequent dhatu dushti. This disturbed agni also resulted in the AMA formation which through vyana vata circulated in body and got lodged in poorishavaha srotas and caused the mamsa dhatu dushti resulting in formation of fibroid.
This ama along with vitiated apana vata caused the qualitative changes in the shukra dhatu (shukra dushti) resulting in formation of low-quality ova which is not able to survive even after fertilization and implantation resulting in miscarriages.
